French School Frigate ‘Kate’ In Stormy Waters A Nook Dated in the upper leftA 19th century oil on board depicting a three masted British frigate buffeted by stormy waters. Its red ensign is almost torn apart by the wind as it leans heavily towards its starboard side. It bears the name Kate and could perhaps be identified with further research.
